The Family Table - Connected

6-7:30 pm + January 19 & 26

The internet and screens pose real challenges for children and parents, but there are real answers.

On January 19 & 26, your family is invited to join us for a two-Wednesday workshop on what it means to safeguard your family in such a “connected” age.  Each night we’ll begin with a meal at 6pm.  We’ll have a brief devotion and then join in a discussion before closing the night promptly at 7:30pm.

On January 19th, we’ll dig into some current information on the real challenges screen time poses to our children’s mental and emotional well-being and discuss practical guidelines and tools that you can implement at home.  On January 26th a member of local law enforcement will share information that parents need to have and field your questions.

This workshop is designed for families with children.  Whether your children are young or entering high school, the workshop will give you both encouragement and practical tools.  Because of logistical limits, attendance is limited to the first nine families who sign up.  (See the signup sheet on the fellowship hall bulletin board or use the link below.)

This is a two-night event, with sessions on January 19th and 26th.  Since the two nights complement each other, it’s strongly recommended that families attend both nights.

There's no cost to attend, but we ask that all participants register by Wednesday, January 12th.  You can register online using the button below.
