The Family Table

6-7:30 pm + September 22 & 29

What’s “The Family Table”?

God designed our homes are to be the primary places we learn to know God’s Word, but beginning and maintaining a faith life at home can be intimidating – especially if you didn’t grow up in a home that had one.  This fall, we’ll have a two-night workshop at church to encourage and equip families for this awesome task.  Your entire family is invited to attend.

Each night will begin with a meal (no need to bring anything, we’ll provide it).  After the meal, children of all ages will go down the hall for childcare while the adults learn about creating a devotional life that “fits” your family.  On September 22nd, we’ll discuss the whats and whys of having a true family faith life at home.  On the 29th, we’ll get equipped with practical tools and strategies for making it happen, including resources you can take home with you.   Each night you’ll be sent on your way no later than 7:30pm.

This workshop is designed for families with children.  Whether your children are young or entering high school, the workshop will give you both encouragement and practical tools for gathering your family around God’s Word.  Attendance is limited to the first twelve families who sign up.  (See the signup sheet on the fellowship hall bulletin board.)

This is a two-night event, with sessions on September 22nd and 29th.  Since the two nights complement each other, it’s strongly recommended that families attend both nights.

There's no cost to attend, but we ask that all participants register by Wednesday, September 15th.  You can register online using the button below.
