Staying Connected with the Word
and Each Other
In keeping with the guidance from our government and health care leaders, Beautiful Savior has suspended in-person Bible studies and worship services through at least 4/15. We'll continue to serve one another with the Word and with Christian love, in whatever ways the Lord allows us. We'll keep this page update with resources and information.
Stay connected to God and his grace through online worship. Beautiful Savior will continue to offer a 7pm Wednesday night Lenten service, and one Sunday morning service at 11am. You can join those services live; they'll also be archived online for viewing at a later date.
Our worship is normally designed to be interactive - we sing and speak to each other in our worship. As we move temporarily to online worship, you'll notice a few changes to our pattern of worship. Your feedback is always welcome as we seek to serve you with God's Word. We'll email the pattern of worship each week; you can also find them below. Consider gathering your family around the computer or smart TV to join us for worship this way.
Receiving the Lord's Supper isn't just about our fellowship with each other. It's a means of grace by which God pours out his forgiveness and strengthens our faith. It's natural that we hunger and thirst for that sacrament all the more at a time like this.
Pastor remains available to share the Lord's Supper privately with any member of our church. Simply call or email him to arrange a fitting time and place.
Sunday School and Bible Study
Our Sunday School class and Sunday morning Bible study will continue to meet via Facebook live at 9:45 am. To join the adult Bible study, look for the event on our Beautiful Savior Marietta Facebook page. You're able to submit questions and comments throughout the class.
Your children can join the Sunday School class by searching for our "BSLC Marietta SS" Facebook page and asking for an invite to join.
Our Thursday morning Bible studies are now available to stream on our YouTube channel as well.
If you have particular needs
If you have any particular health concerns or have a weakened immune system, please call or email the church office to let us know. Our pastors and elders will make a point of praying for you, and will seek to call you from time to time to check in on you. If you're home bound and need help with anything, we'll seek to provide it.
We take these steps with confidence in God's gracious control, with love for our neighbor, and with the expectation these steps will be short-lived. Is this an overreaction? We pray so! And until the Lord directs this virus to run its course, we rejoice to continue to share the Word and pray for one another in the many ways he allows us.
