Adult Bible Study
Growing in our knowledge of God's Word is a central part of our life as a Christian congregation. God promises his greatest blessings come from hearing his message: salvation through faith in our Savior, peace and strength as we face the challenges of life, guidance for Christian loving, and a daily increase in faith, hope and love. Members and visitors alike are welcome to join us for any of these studies.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Every Sunday morning we meet for adult Bible study in our fellowship hall. Refreshments are always on-hand, and we get to know one another and dig deeply together into God's Word. Throughout the year we tackle different books of the Bible and different topics. Currently we're studying the book of Acts. We consider how God's church lived as a community of believers in the days after Christ's ascension and brought the gospel to a pagan world, and discuss applications for the work God calls his church to carry out today.
Our Sunday morning study is held from 9:45 - 10:45 am.
Thursday Morning Bible Study
On Thursday mornings throughout the school year we gather for Bible study. Bring along your Bible and a desire to discuss God's Word together. Currently, the Thursday morning group is studying "The Twelve" - it's a look at what the Bible tells us about the twelve disciples of Jesus, with applications to our lives of knowing and following Christ.
Our Thursday morning study is held from 10-11 am in our fellowship hall.
Women's Bible Study
Throughout the year we hold a number of Women's Bible study opportunities - some led by pastor, others led by women of the congregation. It's a wonderful chance to grow together in God's Word as sisters in Christ.
Basic Information Class
Basic Information Class (BIC) is a "crash course" in all the teachings of the Bible. Over the course of twelve lessons, we walk through what the Bible is, and all of its chief teachings about salvation, faith, the means of grace, marriage and money, government, life, death, eternal life and much more. The class also serves as a membership class for those interested in joining our church family. The class is usually held a number of times during the year, or one of our pastors is always willing to meet with you one-on-one.
